Becoming an Exceptional Blogger

As a brand ambassador, I have been challenged in a lot of my weaker areas. Although I have improved a lot, I still have room for growth. During the recent weekly meeting, I asked my colleagues for advice on researching and blogging. The advice that I was given was very helpful. Here are my three key takeaways from their advice:

  1. Search in the archive using a theme

Usually, I would look into the life of one history maker, and pull facts from the story. This made blogging hard because I couldn’t form a lot of opinions to make a thorough blog post. By finding opinions on a specific subject matter within the archive, I can compose rich content in my blog post

  2. Connect the history with current times

I was told that often times, history is very similar to current day occurrences. I never really thought about it, but it is indeed a fact. The quote “the game stays the same, only the players change” is an accurate statement. A lot of times, we have the same experiences as our elders, and the only difference is the technology, processes, and people. Its hard to believe that the bad cycles continue with all the examples that we have to learn from.

  3. Look at history as a story

History is defined as the study of past events, particularly in human affairs, or the whole series of past events connected with someone or something. When you are able to piece together history as a story it makes it much easier to comprehend.

Using these tools, I will apply it to my posts to compose more quality blog posts.

I hope this post helped you learn something, just as I did!
