Grambling State Update: Faith K.

As a student of an HBCU in Louisiana, this week for me was not as productive as I would’ve wanted it to be. The reasoning for that was because of the mandated break for “Marci Gras” Grambling State and other Louisiana HBCUS were given up until the end of Ash Wednesday this week. This slotted me to only focus on keeping my pre-registered participants updated on their requirements for the BHM Creative Contest. I have been including them in mass emails, contacting them through social media to let them know the deadline is approaching for them to start submitting their talents. I am hoping to hear back from them very soon but have had one of those participants already reach out on submitting their talent. The other time of my required 10 hours this week included me getting a head start on the African Diaspora blogpost that is due on the 2nd. I’ve found some figures within the archive that I not only relate to but admire already and am excited to share with my peers and such.
