Tuskegee University Campus Ambassador Update
These last three weeks (and even the weeks prior) have been dedicated to finishing out my goals and adding more detail to past projects. If I had to define my tactics for the week in one word, it would be detailed. With this being said, throughout this semester I will be spending more time with the archive and learning how to present and relate it to my student body. I learned that Instagram stories and posts are not the most successful methods for new accounts. It’s best to relate history on a more personal level.
One of these initiatives includes creating HistoryMakers boards available for students to see and learn directly. I came up with this idea while completing my web analysis paper for my professional and technical writing class. The goal of the assignment was to describe a resource that you utilize frequently as a student. This paper will not only be for a grade but also be part of my final presentation to the class. This will be another campus class presentation that I have led this semester. I'm very excited about that presentation and my two this upcoming week.
This week was a short week for Tuskegee University’s campus due to Easter Break, but over the course of the break, I been dedicating time to upgrade my old blog posts. As for my last blog post, I wanted to focus on a HistoryMaker that is a poet/ spoken word artist due to National poetry month.
